My name is Deanna.

I am a Wife and Mother of 5. 5 Daughters that is. I actually am the wife to one of your newest members Tonyvdb . He suggested we both join here to study the bible together. It seems that we are more productive on the computer and that is possibly why he chose to do that here.
We both have trouble reading. I need complete peace and quiet and don't get that with 5 children. Our youngest (2) is as loud and busy as our eldest (15).

My beliefs stem from my upbringing. I follow God's word directly from the bible over anyone else's word that changes out of convenience. I am skeptical of anything or anyone that is "new" and have been taught to walk Carefully and Sure and carry a big stick to rid of satan. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me from sin. I believe I am a sinner and am not deserving to stand before God yet I choose to follow him and because of that I will someday.

I understand your distractions while studying...my husband and I have 4 children - the youngest is 18 months and our oldest will be 16 in just a week . I too need completel silence while studying and find it next to impossible most days .....I try to get up very early in the morning to be alone with God, but now that school is back in session even the big kids are up pretty early ...so it's a challenge.

I look forward to studying with you and getting to know you...I"m fairly new here myself

Hi Deanna, I am the old lady here I am 75, going on 76 in November. I have been married 41 and 1/2 years to the same man. We have one son and 3 granddaughters.
I haven't been a member here very long, but long enough to know that all my brethren posting here are great
