Hello Everyone

I"m new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself...
My name is Barb and I've been a Christian all my life. I was raised Catholic but left the Catholic church when I met my husband 17years ago. We belong to a non denominational Christian church and my faith has never been stronger, Praise the Lord!

As a strong Conservative Republican ,I'm in a "season" of great hunger for God's word and strive daily to be the wife and mother God intends me to be for Him. My husband and I have 4 children and I"m a stay at home mom who is loving EVERY minute of it...I"m truely blessed..for this is exactly what I always longed for as a child.

I look forward to getting to know you all here and really getting to the "meat" of God's word...I"m not a scholar, but I am in love with our God and hopefully I have some wisdom to share with others here as well.

No, you just had good taste. It was a long time ago. I rarely watch any of those shows and when I have, I rarely watch them all the way through because often, they get too bad to watch. Well, that is all the shows on TV these days. I wear out my remote. I hold it in my hand all the time so I can quickly change the channel. I could be watching a cooking show and suddenly have to change the channel because of the commercials. They should put a rating on them too.

you're so funny Steven I use to watch Seinfeld all the time YEARS ago....but I agree, it's just not the same anymore. It comes on here after our local news and have to change the channel, TV is rediculous anymore...what a shame

Isn't that the truth??? I cannot turn on the TV anymore without seeing something sexual and it has nothing to do with what is being advertized (like what does sex have to do with cooking rice?).
