Greetings from T-town!

Hey folks,

I dropped in a bit last year, but have not spent much time on this forum ... my goal is to develop a habit of coming here each morning. Some of you know me and others do not. My name is Lee and I have just celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary with my wife, Kathy. We have two kids rapidly approaching the teen years. I devoted myself to the ministry at the age of 37 (I'm about to turn 45) and first preached in Luverne, Alabama. I now preach in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (since October '05). I'm looking forward to digging into Scripture and exploring our common faith.

In Christ,
Lee

Re: Greetings from T-town!

Good to see you start posting and becoming more active.

You know Angibug and I just celebrated our 24th year of being married (to each other mind you) this past Monday.

ROLL TIDE!

Oh yeah... and congrats on your anniversary... and tell Kathy I said hello!

Angibug is a saint! And, in all fairness, so is Kathy! Patience is a virtue and we found virtuous women! God bless them. Please give her a hug from me.

Re: Greetings from T-town!

Laura,

Congrats ... and, yes, God is really good at what He does and we get to enjoy the fruit when we let Him work with us!

I see you are from Manassas. I'm a military history buff and a Marine Corps brat who used to live in Quantico. We worshipped in Fredricksburg (1971-72).

I look forward to our "forum time".

Cool to find someone who knows where Manassas is. My house is near the back side of Quantico. They used to practice shelling there during the day. My house would shake. :raped: Kelli (here) and her husband (my brother) live in King George near Fredricksburg, so we go down there on occasion.

Re: Greetings from T-town!

My great-great grandfather and three of his brothers fought with the 47th Alabama at the Battle of Groveton (the day before 2nd Manassas). They were at Fredericksburg, too, but were basicaaly a HQ guard for Stonewall and did not fire a shot.

Northern VA is beautiful ... nice to know there are good folks there, too!
