| Hello from Toronto, Canada...Trista Waern
Greetings fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I am so very excited to have stumbled on this forum. Definitely God at work! It is hard to find those who are preaching Truth. So, I thank God for this wonderful blessing to become united with one another. To build each other up and always speak Truth. I was baptized on Dec 2, 2007 (baby crawling here) and I have never been so excited about anything before in my entire life! I am totally looking forward to having wonderful discussions and learing more about the Bible. I got to share my faith for the first time yesterday, finally letting go of the fears of rejection. (Cold contact can be scary)! What a feeling it is, knowing that I can spread the good news of Jesus Christ without fear, knowing He is with me always! Currently, I am part of an international movement...The International Christian Church. I will moving to London, England with another disciple of the Toronto Church. Her name is Megan and, in our church, we are the only two. So, getting to London for some awesome training is going to be wonderful. I hope you are all having a wonderful day! With lots of Love in Christ, Trista Waern |

Hey Steve, Thanks for the welcome. I found the forum looking on Google for sites that preached that baptism was a requirement for salvation. I did not find very many but I did stumble upon this forum at around the 6th page. It was cool to find. I became interested and agreed with the teachings as it all comes from the Bible. Everything written on the forum has been backed up with scripture. It's wonderful. I am part of the International Christian Church (ICC). Here is the London International Christian Church web site for reference. I will be moving to London in August for 1 year to train and I'm hoping to become a women's ministry leader one day. There are many sister churches across the world that are part of this movement. You can find them all at the web site. http://www.londonchurch.org.uk/ I hope to learn more about you too Steve. With love in Christ, Trista |

Hello Trista and welcome to BTF. It is not often people will click on links as far down as the 6th page of Google. Baptism is a popular topic, so ranking for it is not easy.

Hi Trista, and welcome to the forums! It's really nice to have some other women here. I look forward to getting to know you better and studying God's word with you.
