My name is Lee Parish (really tricky I know since my username is well...) I was born and raised in Rush Springs Oklahoma, with a brief 4 year stop off at my favorite university Oklahoma State! I was immersed for the remission of my sins, and the Lord added me to His church in 2002.

Eventually I began teaching and preaching which has lead be to have proclaimed the Gospel at 4 different congregations. Currently I am preaching at two small congregations in central and south central Oklahoma.

I am unmarried, I guess nobody will have me . I am a new uncle as my sister and her husband had their first, a baby boy named Daniel he is 3 months and draws everyones attention.

I followed Steven over from preachersfiles as well. Hope to engage in some good conversations!

Hi Lee. Glad I'm not the only tag-along. Wow! Preaching for TWO congregations. I hope they aren't TOO far apart. Don't worry too much on the wife thing. We were all starting to wonder if my brother would EVER get married. He didn't find his bride until his late 30's. He is now married to a good Christian woman with a beautiful daughter. Just be patient and pray. God will answer your prayers in His time and in His way.

Thanks Laura. I preach on a rotation basis, somewhat. One congregation I go to once a month. All other Sundays I preach at the other congregation. So I am not a "full-time" preacher at either, and am not required at both on the same day. It is an interesting arrangement, but one that was necessary.

I am not concerned with the marriage thing. It will happen when it happens. I am 24, my father was 30 and my brother-in-law was 31, I think both married over their heads so there is hope .
