My testimony is simple...

When I became a Christian it was a complete rebirth of the spirit inside me. My inner person became a new creature and I was joined at the heart with Jesus Christ because of my sincere faith in Him. After I was baptized it was as if I could walk on water....not really, but it seemed that way. I felt like I was on "cloud nine."

I had enough faith to do anything that God asked me to do. Nothing has ever moved my soul as much as those first steps of becoming a Christian and I know that nothing ever will again.

Over the years I have allowed others to sway my thinking and to confuse me with their strict legalism and biblical "patterns" concerning the issue of salvation, but I know that Christianity is not a matter of being able to follow a bunch of rules and regulations...the Jews had that task already and they we failing miserably!! Christianity is about walking hand in hand with God by the faith that comes from His word. It means to be joined at the heart through His Son, Jesus the Christ. I fully understand His grace, His mercy, and His love. It's not about me....it's about Him and that is why I give God the glory!

If we come to know only the Book but fail to come to know God through the Book, then we have failed....and God's purpose for the Book has been defeated.
