| The Existence of God
There are many deep, thought provoking questions that a person could ask in the course of his or her life, but of all of the questions of this sort the deepest and most thought provoking question would probably be, "Is God real?" There can only be one of two answers to this great question; yes or no. Upon the answer to this question usually arises another question; why do we believe this? No doubt there are many people in the world who believe that there is no God. Why do they believe this way? Surely there is some reason why a person chooses to say, 'There is no God in heaven and you people are silly!" Somewhere in their mind there are reasons for this unbelief. On the other hand, there are many in the world who believe in the existence of God in heaven. No doubt many of these people have always believed in God. Again the question arises, "Why do you believe in God?" Many may say, "Just because." And like little children we say, "Because why?" Let us spend a little time proving without a shadow of a doubt that God is real. In fact, He is sovereign, being the maker and ruler of the universe. God would not create us and then give us no evidence of His existence. On the contrary; there is plenty of evidence, with and without the use of scripture, which proves the existence of God. First, we can honestly say that from nothing comes nothing. Some say that our complex earth and its heavenly surroundings came from nothing. However, the common law of cause and effect says otherwise. This law basically states that every thing that has happened and is happening in the material universe was and is caused by something else. Therefore something comes from something and from nothing comes nothing. Every thing that we can see and touch has a specific design. A person could inspect these surroundings by using any instrument from a telescope down to a microscope and come to realize that this universe has a creator. In Romans 1:20 the Bible says "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." (KJV) In Hebrews 3:4 we read "For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God." Psalms 19:1 states that "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handy work." In Acts 14:15 Barnabas and Paul, speaking of God, said,"…which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein." One could scarcely open their eyes and not clearly see the evidence that God has provided for us as reason to believe that He is real. Do you believe that there is a God in heaven?

Actually, something can come from nothing...it been done in a physics lab. Actually, there is no such thing as nothing. Genesis 1 opens up with how God created matter from nothing...the basics of quantum field theory are there (QFT is the most advanced and difficult in physics) ... the fact is that Genesis 1 proves that God exists, how else can so ancient a text contain scientific theories so advanced? The basics is a tug of war between the 2nd law of thermodynamics and the hiesenberg uncertainty principle...quantum vacuum fluctuations, which is how a flourescent light works. Advanced knowledge is impossible in such an early text...only God could have known it. As this proves the source of the OT texts being a real God, and we can tie the prove that the NT has the same source as well...God. How that? Both the first words of the OT and the first half of the John chapter 1 are the same. How? The first 3 characters of Genesis in the hebrew texts, as well as the words translated as "created" and "beginning" - start with the same concepts in John 1 Quote:
Also, the hebrew word for the main part of the OT in general - the TORAH, or TRH in transliterated hebrew...meaning the "law of God". The first character tau...where we get our letter Tt...looks like a lower case "tee" (t) in old hebrew script...the shape of a cross. In my opinion this foreshadows the cross of Christ and the law of Christ. This shows how the scriptures truly interprets itself Quote:
