Re: Heaven and Hell - Is This True?

Here is what Copeland teaches regarding the end of time and the events of Matthew 24. As you will see they are in direct opposition to the error taught by Max King. I am still waiting for a reply from him and will pass along what he says. I think his teaching on Matthew 24 starts on page 34....

According to the link I gave, it seems like he supports the 70 ad date. Am I wrong?

Just because one supports an early date to Revelation is not an indicator that they support the 70 A.D. doctrine. These are two separate matters.

The 70 A.D. or A.D. 70 Doctrine holds that Christ has already returned, specifically in the year 70, which as you can imagine this teaching has wide ranging implications and is as a false doctrine.

Here is a discussion on this topic from the old preachersfiles forum.

Yes, yes, yes!

Holding to an early date for Revelation has nothing to do with the King Doctrine (AD 70 Theory). King (who has been marked as a false teacher) taught that Jesus returned in AD 70 at the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans.

As you can see from his teaching, Copeland does NOT believe that Jesus has returned. I don't agree with everything Mark teaches but I do find him to be a sound teacher. I certainly hold him to be a brother in Christ.

Kingism is a very interesting study. One is amazed at how the scriptures can be twisted.

Brotherly,
Donald

I was wondering about this....I thought he wasn't going off the road. I find his sermons very good.
