| I love you!
There is no greater commandments than those that Jesus spoke... to love God and to love our neighbor… Mark 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 1 John 4:19 We love Him, because He first loved us. 1 Corinthians 13:13 But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. When is the last time you said to God, “I love you”? These are three of the greatest words you can say to anyone, especially God. Of course we cannot simply give lip service… we must show our love as well. When is the last time you hugged your wife, husband, child, mother, father, brother, sister, friend, and even your brothers and sisters in Christ, and said to them with a sincere heart, “I love you”? Yes… there are many ways to show our love, this is simply one action that can impact others in a beautiful way. Why do we delay? If we love Jesus, he says we will keep His words and He and the Father will make their abode with us… John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. If we are in Christ and the Holy Spirit is in us, then our love for God and for one another cannot help but to show in us. Does this love show in you? Let your family know you love them… let your brothers and sisters in Christ know that you love them, and most importantly, let’s be sure to let God know we love him with our words and our actions. I love you!
