My prayers are with you, brother. Jesus said, "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved." (Matt 10:22) Most of us who got into preaching understood the Lord to mean THE LOST, THE HEATHEN, THE ABJECT SINNERS will hate us. He didn't say that. He said, "all men." Preaching is the only occupation I know that you must be willing to lay your head on a chopping block every Sunday so people you believe are your friends can take turns whacking it. Even so, the end of Jesus' statement is what's important. "He that endureth to the end shall be saved." I'm glad you're in the faith for the long haul.
