The linked article says she is a teenager. I would think she is too old to 'spank' but definitely needs disciplined.
But I am wondering, where is her mother? I don't think she was mentioned. And why did he/they not know something was going on in the girl's bedroom? The article says it had been going on for a lengthy time.
If there is no mother in the house, I wonder where the girl is now.
I wonder if the father is hard of hearing.
