Another passage I just remembered about going to a brother who has sinned....

Gal 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

This references brothers in general and no particular sin... just as James does in James 5:19, 20.
