Re: Universalism

Sonnie,

Another thought to try and plant, is that the only things we know of God's Will, come through the Bible. Without it, all we can know (through the creation) is that there is a God. If that is agreed, then the Bible is either the word of God or not...If it is, then God has revealed that he is a "just" God that not only "will", but "must" recompense good with good and evil with evil. Also, if it is, then he has given us great examples of His love as well as His punishments. If it is, we must accept it in it's entirety:
Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
...and that we will be judged as such:
John 12:48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day

If the Bible is not God's Word.....then we can know nothing.

But it is either one way or another.
