I was standing in line at the pharmacy yesterday for quite a while and noted the covers of several magazines. Over 50% of the magazine covers had either veiled or overtly sexual photos and headline story teasers. These were magazines like Muscle, Cosmopolitan, and others and clearly geared toward the younger generation. Normally I just ignore this kind of stuff, but the magazines were in a rack on the front of the counter below the register... just at eye level for small children who would be standing there with their parents waiting to pick up prescriptions. I felt like I had just been smacked in the face!

We parents are trying to hard to bring our children up to be pure and it's not even safe to take them to the drug store??? What are these people thinking? (No don't tell me... they weren't!) I've a good mind to call the store manager and suggest they might want to move such materials out of the viewing of children. Think it will do any good?
